Celebrate New Year in the French Pyrenees with five nights in one hotel in central Lourdes, breakfasts and dinners.

The route combines Pau, the Jurançon wine region, skiing in Cauterets and a choice between a second ski day or an excursion to Pont d’Espagne and the Cirque de Gavarnie.

Timeline

Day 1

Departure from Torrevieja and transfer to Lourdes, arrival in the evening, accommodation at Hotel Alliance Lourdes 3* and dinner.

Day 2

Tour of Pau, including the historic centre, Château de Pau and Boulevard des Pyrénées, followed by a visit to a family winery in Jurançon with wine tasting for adults.

Day 3

Free time in Lourdes or an optional excursion to San Sebastián with the Old Town, Constitution Square, Santa María Basilica and La Concha Bay.

Day 4

A full day of skiing or snowboarding at Cauterets; equipment hire and instructor services are available for an additional fee.

Day 5

Choice of a second ski day at Cauterets or an excursion to Pont d’Espagne and the UNESCO-listed Cirque de Gavarnie; New Year gathering at the Lourdes grotto at 22:30.

Day 6

Late breakfast, check-out and departure for Torrevieja at about 11:30.
