There is a reason the Palace of the Counts of Cervellón is called the Valencian Alhambra. This castle-palace stands on the site of a medieval Almohad fortress: in the early seventeenth century Fernando Pujades de Borja, first Count of Anna, turned it into a palatial residence. Today it blends medieval and Baroque features with elements restored in the Islamic-Andalusian tradition: Arab courtyards, delicate mosaics and water bubbling in the fountains.

For your picnic there is the Albufera de Anna lake near the town of Anna, with picnic areas all around it; in the warmer months you can also swim in the lake.

Xàtiva Castle is one of the mightiest fortresses in Spain. Pope Alexander VI Borgia was born here. The views from the top are breathtaking, and the majestic mountain scenery all around completes the picture.

Palace of the Counts of Cervellón in Anna

The Valencian Alhambra: a castle-palace founded on the site of a medieval Almohad fortress. In the early seventeenth century Fernando Pujades de Borja, first Count of Anna, turned the old fortress into a palatial residence. Today the palace blends medieval and Baroque features with elements restored in the Islamic-Andalusian tradition: Arab courtyards, delicate mosaics and water bubbling in the fountains.

The visit is included in the tour price.

Xàtiva Castle

One of the mightiest fortresses in Spain. Pope Alexander VI Borgia was born here.

The free part of the castle is included in the programme. Going higher, into the paid part, is optional: €6 per person.

Pickup details

Departure: 09:00 from Torrevieja. Back in Torrevieja at 20:00.

In Torrevieja we pick you up from your home and drop you back afterwards. Please add your address in the additional information when booking your ticket.

Surcharge for addresses outside Torrevieja (approximate):

  • La Mata, Punta Prima, Torreta: €10 per address (return)
  • La Zenia, Cabo Roig: €15
  • Campoamor, Rojales, Doña Pepa, Quesada, Villamartín: €20 per address (return)

Pick-up within Torrevieja is free. For addresses outside Torrevieja the surcharge is mandatory and is paid to the driver in cash when you board. We'll confirm the exact amount when you book: it depends on your address and the route.

29 октября прекрасно провели день, путешествуя по маленьким городам Валенсийского региона. Тур был организован фирмой\"Дядя Ваня\" и назывался Валенсийская Альгамбра и замки Борджиа. Самым большим открытием для нас был замок в городе Анна- жемчужина этого маленького городка с населением 3 тысячи человек, да и всего региона. Мы попали в арабскую сказку с журчанием воды во внутреннем дворике, роскошью внутренних интерьеров, игрой красок мозаики. Так же познавательно было увидеть систему водоснабжения замка и города, с фильтрации воды через естественную породу. Следующим городом нашего путешествия был старинный город Хатива со своей сложной, даже трагической историей. Над городом возвышается крепость, с которой открывается впечатляющий вид. В путешествии побывали на водопадах,отдохнули у красивого озера и насладились красотой горного пейзажа. Особая благодарность нашему гиду - Виталию, который прекрасно провёл все экскурсии,доступно и интеллегентно донёс всю новую для нас информацию,был внимателен к нам и нашим просьбамам. И, конечно, это прекрасно, когда тебя забирают из дома на экскурсиюию и привозят обратно.
С удовольствием поедем над другие экскурсию этой фирмы и порекомендуем нашим друзьям и знакомым.

Вчера были в поездке \"Валенсийская Альгамбра\", очень довольны. Экскурсия включает как природные красоты, так и архитектурные памятники и музеи.
